I think crocheting and looking forward to our little human is something very comforting right now.
However things will go, I will make sure she will be born into a nest of warmth and love.
I made a few items for a newborn set, which she can wear when she comes to this world.
And I used these patterns:
Newborn Baby Socks – The Yarn Box
Newborn Hat and Mittens
These are from a book from the library so I do not have the link directly to the pattern.
Right now I am working on a cardigan for a 12 to 18 month old from the same book with the same yarn.
Crochet One-Skein Wonders® for Babies: 101 Projects for Infants & Toddlers
But I will have to spend most of next week making Christmas cards. Yes, you heard right, Christmas.
Time flies and some of the international main takes a little longer.
After a rummage sale my friends and I did recently, I snatched up some left over yarn from my friend. And now with the baby coming, there are so many cute crochet projects I want to do.
So I started a little set with hat, vest, bib, and two kinds of mittens because I don’t know how long she will be able to wear the small ones. The vest was a pattern for a hooded sweater but I stopped without the sleeves and hood, because it just looked cute as a vest.
Here are the patterns I used:
Crocheted Ribbed Beanie – Free Pattern – delia creates
The Drool Monkey Bib
The Small Mittens
Free crochet baby pattern baby mitts usa
The Bigger Mittens
Free crochet pattern children’s mittens usa
Leaping Crochet Baby Hoodie – moogly
Soon there will be more Baby stuff 😀
I didn’t manage to keep it up all Oktober but I got about 2/3 through. Not bad for the first Inktober, I think. And with no further ado here all of my pieces. This is a photo post yay!
