Who is the Gallery of Friends?
A community of Instagram artist friends who like to promote each other. But it is also a virtual gallery show casing art of its members.
What is our goal?
To promote each other’s work as well as communication and collaboration between the members of the Gallery of Friends.
How does this work?
Each month, members of the Gallery of Friends can submit 2 or more pieces of art they want showcased and include a little backstory of the pieces. Then the community will pick out their favorite for each artist. Those go into that month’s exhibition.
How to Become a Member
If you are interested in becoming a member, please message us on Instagram @galleryoffriends.
Current Month’s Artworks
These will be released / updated after the 15th of each month. Please scroll down to read more details about the artists and each piece of art.

In 2019 I went to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with my sister, and one of the places we visited was Goa Jomblang, which is a collapsed sinkhole that’s part of a cave system. We were lowered by a group of men (not machines!) down the side of a cliff in a harness, then hiked into the cave to get to this view 😍 it was quite the experience! It was my first time going into a cave, any cave, and phew! Did not realise just how muddy it was… The mud and rocks were really slick, and the rocks very jagged, so we had to be really careful not to fall or drop our phones, which we were using as torches bc it was so dark. Really humid in there too, so the safety helmets we were given got uncomfortable really quickly 😂 took quite a while to get to the rocky structure at the end, and the light rays shine in at a particular time… it was gorgeous haha. I’m glad we did it! 😊
Decided to plop Bear into the cave… I thought it looked like he was exploring like we were, but my fiance said it looked like he was stuck 🤣🤣🤣 what do you think? and would you explore a cave like this too? 😊

We’ve all been kicked and beaten down in life before, and if you’re lucky enough, maybe you have someone to pick you up when that happens. I know when I feel beaten down, my best friend/wife is always there to lift me up again. This was such an awesome commission to work on and I can’t wait to see the clients reaction for when they see it in person. This is 24”x30” oil on canvas.

“Baloo!” The sweetest little wolfdog pup ever! I fell in love with his face!❤❤❤ If you remember his story you will know he had many struggles as a young pup! His sweet eyes made me want to paint him! His eyes say it all!!! “I am a wolf! And i am STRONG and WILD!” ❤❤❤❤❤

I have two dogs, but these are not them. I made this for a friend as a birthday present again. We don’t get to party due to the pandemic, so I wanted to do something nice for one of my friend’s birthday presents.
I tried to be a little bolder with the colors. I also used a tissue on the wet watercolor to get the texture in the background. What so you think?
Title: You should care

What we do and how we act towards nature, reveals the amount of respect we have for all living things. One life does not matter more than an other and a tree without its roots, simply can not exist. So, what happens when we forget our own roots?
A STM (spread the message ) challenge that @kindeledhearts1985 and me co-created, hoping to touch the hearts of people and make them realize the importance of protecting the environment and all living beings!
The quote was her idea with a different scenery. I kept the quote and changed the scenery , adding crying and worried squirrels, watching while a human is vandalizing their tree homes.
