It has been 10 days since my last drawing, but the days were still filled with creating besides some Valentines day activities and Anime binge watching ;P
I made a dress for “Galentine’s Day” (the day before Valentine’s Day, to be spend with girl friends), and I actually wore it out for dinner and dancing with some girl friends.
It was a lot of fun. Here the dress:
Currently, I am working on a tulle skirt with a friend. One for me and one for her.
We started cutting out some of the layers as circle skirts. Next time we meet we will start sewing.
Unfortunately I won’t have much time due to work in the next couple of weeks.
The only piece we didn’t cut was the liner for my skirt, because the piece of fabric is too small for a circle. We tried to come up with a calculation on how we can still cut a semi circle, but it turned into trigonometry 🙂
A friend of ours plugged it into his design software and it calculated what we needed. Pretty neat. I may still try to solve this the old fashioned way to see if I cannot remember some of that stuff from high school.
Either way, because I am so busy the next couple of weeks, I won’t be able to finish the skirt soon, but I will try to at least do the daily doodles again.
